About Coach Beez
Matt Beeuwsaert (a.k.a. Coach Beez) was a Scholastic, Parade, and McDonald’s All-American out of Mater Dei High School in Santa Ana. He was an All-Orange County Player of the Year, All-Angelus League MVP, and CIF Player of the Year. He was an integral part of Gary McKnight’s first CIF Championship team and was also Team Captain. In an article by Steve Fryer of the O.C. Register, Coach Beez was voted as one of the top 25 high school players of all-time to ever come out of Orange County. Coach Beez went on to play at both Notre Dame, under Coach Digger Phelps, and U.C. Berkeley, under Coach Lou Campanelli. The highlight of his collegiate career was on national television vs UCLA where he tallied 29 points, 15 rebounds, and 7 assists, and was awarded Player of the Week in the PAC-10.In Europe, Coach Beez played for ten professional seasons, winning six Championships with two teams: Racing Mechelen and Spirou Charleroi.
About Coach Jordan Hamamoto
Jordan Hamamoto is entering his first season as an assistant coach for the Cypress College men’s basketball program. Coach Hamamoto’s primary focus is the men’s basketball strength and conditioning program.Hamamoto was a league MVP and All-CIF selection as a member of the Western High School basketball team. He played Division II basketball at Lake Superior State and NAIA basketball at Northwestern College. Hamamoto also played one season at Irvine Valley College for Cypress Head Coach Andrew Alhadeff.After finishing his playing career, Hamamoto turned to the coaching side of the game working with youth basketball clinics and providing skills training. He is currently a Kinesiology major at University of Laverne and is expected to graduate in Spring of 2016.

About Coach Jackson
Coach Jackson was the first ever 4-year basketball letterman at perennial powerhouse Mater Dei H.S. in Santa Ana. He started all four years at Mater Dei, during which time he was an All-Angelus League and All-Orange County selection, as well as a member of many all-tournament teams, and played a huge role for Gary McKnight’s very first CIF Championship team at Mater Dei. Coach Jackson was a J.C. All-American at Rancho Santiago Community College and played his final two years at U.C. Riverside, where he was a two-time All League selection. Following his senior year, he won the Conference Defensive Player of the Year award.
Finally, Coach Jackson went on to play in the PBA, the top basketball league in the Philipines. He played professionally there for 10 years, winning two PBA Championships, was a member of the All-Defensive Team for 7 years, and was Defensive MVP for 3.

About Maya Kennedy
Currently playing at the guard position for Vanguard University, high point game 23 pts., named GSAC Player of the Week for January 26, 2015.
